florida home insurance run for the money...

for those of you living in the hurricane states, and probably still picking up your pieces , glueing them together, scrubbing the mildew off the walls, get ready for the biggest storm of the century...hurricane insurance.
Unlike most hurricanes, knowing that you might loose everything you worked for,this hurricane waits out in the sidelines, building and building. just when you are ready, prepared, did everything right by the book, you find you cant weather what hurricane insurance comes on land with. its more like a tidal wave rushing in and back out squeezing the last bit of possible recovery you might have and leaving you homeless.
not only do we invest for years in insurance and when we actually have to use it for what we paid for..a hurricane..they want to increase insurance so high it is impossible to recover. where did all that money go we wrote out every month for years, its not in my bank account.
we cannot support the insurance life style, does anyone out there feel the same?
